Francis O'Hara, tried at Dundalk in March 1815, sentence not reported, 28 years of age, by trade he states himself to be a cooper and labourer, a native of the County Down, 5 feet 5¼ inches high, hazle eyes and brown hair, fair pale complexion, arrived per Guilford, and was lately employed in His Majesty's Stores, at Sydney.




Francis O'Hara was convicted at Dundalk in March 1815. Transported to New South Wales, Australia per the 'Guildford'. Aged 28yrs; cooper and labourer. Native Place of birth: County Down, Ireland. One of the convicts who escaped from the Colony 12/09/1816 having seized the brig 'Trial'. No trace of them was found despite attempts to trace them. The wreck of the 'Trial' was however found. Some were believed to have gone bush or went in a small boat made from the shipwreck.
