Patrick was convicted at Louth on 11/07/1843 for stealing a watch. 15yr transportation sentence to Van Diemens Land, on the 'Cadet' 1844.

Married, 1 child; Roman Catholic; plasterer; can read & write; 5'6 1/2"; fair complexion; lt brown hair; grey eyes; 22yrs of age. Van Diemens Land: Station Gang: Jerusalem, VDL. 21mths. Emerged from Gang 19/09/1846. Numerous records of misconduct, mostly drunk & disorderly. Ticket of Leave 24/11/1851 Ticket of Leave revoked 17/04/1855 Ticket of Leave reinstated 23/10/1855 Ticket of Leave revoked 23/09/1856 Ticket of Leave reinstated 23/11/1856 Conditional Pardon 24/03/1857
