Charles Wood was born 1831 in Nottingham, Kent, 1851 convicted of -Robbery with assault, given a life sentence. Convicted at Central Criminal Court on the 3 March 1857. Was a joiner by trade was also an omnibus driver- badge number 9503, also a painter and coachman. Charles was single, no children, 5’4½” tall, brown hair, grey eyes, long face, dark complexion, middling stout. 23/6/1863: TOL 13/1/1864: CP, Perth. Comments: Labourer and brickmaker. 6/11/1864: Married Margaret Sheehan In Perth. (Margaret arrived in Western Australia c1850's with her mother Mary and stepfather James Kinnaird). There were four children from this marriage: Joseph 1865 (Mary Isabel Selena Farrington) Jane Ann (Mrs James Thompson) Mary Ann (Mrs Henry Vincent) Charles 1874-1883 11/4/1875: Charles died and was buried St George's Cathedral Cemetery. Margaret then married Alfred Thomas Sutton 9.12.1876 (Perth RC) he was also a convict aboard the Clyde 1863. Child : Alfred Bradshaw b 1877
